The institution has a strong research foundation. In all 77 students have recieved M.Phil. degree and 34 students have recieved Ph.D degree from our Research Center. Presently the faculty is actively engaged in research and extension activities. Financial assistance from the University Grants Commission has been given to the faculty members to carry out independent research projects.
Various extension activities are a prominent feature of our institution especially related to curriculum transaction and methodology of teaching of various subjects.
